Having
cleared the space the partitioning for the corridor
was built. Although more complicated, the corridor was
not built straight, but weaved a little to produce a
more realistic finished effect and avoid any "boxiness".
Virtually all of the plaster was removed from the walls
and refinished, exposing the stonework around the windows
and along the corridor section. A small walk-in dressing
room was incorporated into the design for the main bedroom.
